Preparation for the Examination

Try the Interactive Model Examination in the Czech Language!

You can find it on the main page, in the top right corner or in the main menu. It is the lowest level, the so-called Level A1.

Did you pass the Interactive Model Examination?

Then you can register for the examination in the Czech language for permanent residence at one of the selected schools which are in the List.
The dates of the examination are given here.

Did you not pass the Interactive Model Examination?

Then you can prepare for the examination:

  • on your own without the help of a teacher;
  • on your own with the help of a teacher (who can even be a member of the family);
  • in a language course.

Before the examination, acquaint yourself with the brochure with a model version of the examination.

The following items may also help you prepare for the examination:

  • the Methodology of Preparation for the Examination in the Czech Language for Permanent Residence Applicants (Level A1),
  • available textbooks that are recommended by the authors of the Methodology of the Preparation for the Examination in the Czech Language for Applicants for Permanent Residence (Level A1).
